Covyrix is built on the principle that freedom and safety coexist. Our community guidelines establish clear expectations for behaviour, content, and interaction. These are not restrictive rules designed to limit expression — they are shared standards that protect every member and ensure the platform remains a space where adults can connect with confidence. The guidelines are the product of ongoing dialogue with our community. They reflect the values that our members hold: consent as non-negotiable, privacy as a right, and mutual respect as a baseline. They are enforced consistently, transparently, and with proportionate consequences. Understanding these guidelines is important for every member. They define what behaviour is expected, what content is permitted, how violations are handled, and what recourse is available if you disagree with a moderation decision. Reading them is an investment in understanding the community you're joining.
Respect and Consent
Every interaction on Covyrix must be consensual. This includes messaging, relationship dynamics, and content sharing. Unsolicited contact after being blocked, pressure to engage in unwanted dynamics, and non-consensual sharing of private content are all violations of community standards. Consent on Covyrix is active, ongoing, and revocable. It is not sufficient to obtain consent once — it must be maintained throughout every interaction. The platform's tools enforce this principle through blocking, muting, safe words, and voluntary exit mechanisms.
Content Standards
All content must comply with applicable law and platform guidelines. Content involving minors, non-consensual acts, or extreme violence is prohibited. Creators maintain editorial freedom within these boundaries, and content moderation is applied consistently across all users. The content standards are designed to be clear and predictable — creators should never be surprised by a moderation decision. The guidelines specify what categories of content are prohibited, and the moderation team applies these standards consistently regardless of the creator's subscriber count or platform status.
Reporting and Moderation
Every user can report content, messages, or profiles that violate community standards. Reports are reviewed by the moderation team with clear response timelines. The reporting system is confidential — reported users are not informed of who filed the report. The moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Categories include harassment, consent violations, content policy violations, impersonation, and safety concerns. Each category is routed to specialised reviewers with appropriate training.
Consequences and Appeals
Violations result in graduated consequences: warnings for minor infractions, temporary suspension for repeated issues, and permanent removal for severe violations. Users who receive penalties can appeal through the support system for review. The appeals process ensures that moderation decisions can be reviewed by a different moderator than the one who made the original decision. Appeals are typically resolved within 48 hours, and the outcome is communicated to the user with an explanation.
Community Participation
Covyrix encourages active community participation through engagement points, community tasks, and collaborative governance within Houses and Dens. Positive participation is recognised and rewarded, creating an environment where constructive behaviour is the norm. The engagement system creates positive incentives — members who contribute constructively to the community earn recognition and access to additional features. This creates a self-reinforcing culture of respect and engagement.
Transparency and Accountability
Covyrix commits to transparency in its moderation practices. Community guidelines are publicly available, moderation decisions follow documented processes, and appeals are handled by independent reviewers. The platform publishes periodic transparency updates on moderation activity, including the number of reports received, actions taken, and appeals resolved. This accountability ensures that the moderation system serves the community rather than operating as an opaque authority.
